Campaign for a Mission Driven People
We have now launched a capital campaign that celebrates our 150 years as a community of faith. The campaign focuses on four projects: enhancements to the Worship Space, including a new Baptismal environment; renovated meeting room space; an atrium gathering space; and an expanded, ongoing ministry to Bethany House.
On November 20, 2009 the Campaign for a Mission Driven People was announced via a parishwide mailing. If you missed it in the mail, read it here. In January, we mailed a letter inviting all to participate by making a pledge.
If you are interested in attending an informational gathering, contact Eleanor. More information will be coming via newsletters in Church and the weekly bulletin.
Neighborhood Gatherings to share more detailed information will continue in the second half of February/early March. Dates will be announced soon. If you have an immediate question, please email us.
If you would like to make an immediate pledge or initial payment online, click here. Please contact Accounting Manager Julie Goldblatt, 586-8089 x.111 with any questions.
Here you can find an Executive Summary of the projects; and a longer version of the Statement of Need.
Loving God, We thank you for your loving guidance and care. We are grateful for those who have sacrificed before us, giving us St. Joseph’s Parish Community, our sacred legacy.
As we develop our parish ministries, may we find creative ways to nurture gratitude, hospitality and discipleship.
May we, the community of 2010 honor the humble spirit of those who came together as People of God in 1860. May their strength and courage inspire our life as the community of the baptized.
May we as a Roman Catholic Community always remember that we are called to witness to the love of Jesus Christ in the world.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Analysis of Focus Group Surveys
Parishioner focus groups conducted this past Spring indicated a desire to move forward with these capital projects and the feasibility of raising the necessary funding. Read an analysis of surveys completed by those who participated.
